Let's take a gander at year 2020. One second, you’re yelling Happy Near Year! As the clock struck midnight, ending 2019 and bringing in 2020, little did we know the level of historic events about to take place. More notably, the COVID-19 virus, which took the world by storm. So many lifestyle changes were thrust upon us, and we were all forced to adapt quickly.

People's lives were halted and the definition of normal changed in unexpected ways. Long gone are the days of running around the house early in the morning, trying not to spill your fresh hot cup of coffee, dodging the kids zooming about, and yelling at least three times to PLEASE put your shoes on! No morning rush hour traffic dodging potholes, construction zones and for goodness sake, don’t spill the coffee! In too many ways to keep track of, routines completely changed.

Overnight, the dining room table became a zone for homework, work, and meals alike. A frenzy of bumping around the house, trying to find space to spread out and focus grew tiresome. All areas of the home bluring together, with what feels like no end in sight even as we're already into 2021. Anyone else miss just a little bit more personal space?
